Welcome all to a new Top 5 Tuesday! My VacayGust is over so I am back with evening posts!

Today I am doing August 20th Top 5 Tuesday, which features orphans! I had one book immediately in my mind, namely The Bad Beginning/Unfortunate Events series and after that I went searching through my tags and through Goodreads to find more orphan books and I found quite some great ones (well, I am still a bit conflicted about Empty Eyes, haha) and I am happy to share them with you. There is something for everyone. I got children’s books, YA, and an adult book, so plenty of picks. And I just noticed that 3 of them would be perfect for Spooktober, so if you are looking for something spooky/scary be sure to check out The Witches (GN), Empty Eyes (GN) (again it was a very weird one so I am still not sure what to think of it, haha), and The Girl with all the Gifts.

Do you have a favourite book with orphans as main characters? What did you pick for this theme? And also how is everyone’s week going? Mine isn’t going too well so far, my dad fell again this time on his forehead and he has a wound there, Coco apparently has a ligament problem and she needs meds and rest. So yeah. I am kinda done already with this week.
