Welcome to Sleepy Hollow! Halloween is coming and things are getting more and more scary!

Another one of my Halloween reads! I was looking for something spooky… but also fun and I just LOVE Sleepy Hollow stories, so this one I had to read! And I can tell you that I had such great fun reading this one!

🎃 Love that this took place in Sleepy Hollow but in the now with phones, bicycles, and other modern stuff.
🎃 Izzy was just so fun and I love her style. It wasn’t easy to move to a new town, especially one so obsessed with the history of Sleepy Hollow and how they react to seeing a new Crane in town. I love how brave and daring she was. I mean, most would just have cried or tried to run despite everything, but she stuck around and listened when the Headless Horseman, or well the pumpkin he is holding, talked and asked for help. And even when things got hairy, Izzy stuck around. Go Izzy!
🎃 Croc was such a chaotic cinnamon bun, I really liked his character, well, OK, his jealous tendencies got a bit much, but I love how he grew throughout the story and how much fun he turned out to be.
🎃 Marjorie flirting with Croc and Croc getting confused was just adorable, I am glad that he listened to Izzy when Izzy told him what was happening.
🎃 Izzy x Vicky = just perfection and from the moment that the sparks started to fly I was just hoping that these two would get together and start dating! I love that it isn’t instantly BOOM dating, but that it takes some misunderstandings and talks before things go for real. WHOOP!
🎃 Vicky was a sweet character and I was rooting for her to a) survive (because seriously being of that family apparently hasn’t been the easiest in many ways) b) get it in people’s mind that she is Van Tassel but isn’t happy to do all the things and that she also wants a life.
🎃 The art!!!!! It was just so GOOD!
🎃 That the horseman is NOT the villain but instead wants to help out and save Vicky/her family. And I had a laugh at the 3 ghosts in one package joke. The horseman was such a sweet and fun character.
🎃 The pumpkin head was just A-plus fun and I would love to meet them in real life.
🎃 Love the little town and all the OMG the Horseman is the best and with that we mean it is EVERYWHERE. It was such a cozy town, though yes, as a newcomer I would also probably be like, um, don’t you have anything else to promote, haha.
🎃 That scene when Vicki and Izzy talk (and oh yes) HYPE HYPE.
🎃 That ending with the battle against the villain, whoop! That was just a ride and got quite hairy! I was just cheering for my squad to get it finished. To end it for all!

I am definitely curious if there is going to be more, the ending says To be continued? so I am guessing there is going to be more, I am hoping for it! I would love to go back to this world and see how things are going with all my favourite characters!

I would highly recommend this one to all looking for a fun new twist to the Sleepy Hollow legend + who love some good shipping!
