Sharing is Caring, Dragon by Bianca Schulze + Samara Hardy banner

I just love the Dragon series by Bianca Schulze and Samara Hardy (check out my reviews for Who Loves the Dragon + Don’t Wake the Dragon) so when I got the invite to be part of the tour and partner up with the writer and illustrator to promote their newest book: Sharing is Caring, Dragon, I just had to hop aboard! And I am happy that I can read and review this book for the tour!

Next to a 4.5 starred review I got book/author information + a fun giveaway~

Review

I received this book from The Children’s Book Review/Bianca Schulze + Samara Hardy in exchange of an honest review.

In this adorable (and hilarious book we follow our dragon as she makes her way to the library! Yes, this book is about libraries and about books! And of course, sharing. Because Dragon has come to the library to get her ULTIMATE favourite book (and one by the writers of this one, Cattitude (which was indeed a very fun book), but what happens when her book is not there! What will she do next when someone she knows DOES have the book? Well, you may imagine what happens given that the book is all about sharing. Dragon just snatches the book. That is not polite dragon, oh no. I loved seeing what happens next because neither the knight nor the dragon wants to let go even though they also have other books to enjoy (but this book is the one for both of them)! It was great the book noped out (would have done the same if I was a magical book and everyone was fighting over me), and I loved the last few pages with the princess reading the story and the knight/dragon learning a very wise lesson. Sharing is caring peeps. You can each get a turn at the book, but maybe the library should also add some new copies of the book since it is getting quite popular and more and more peeps want to read it. I hope that dragon and knight will recommend each other books and just have fun reading! And sharing, that is also important.

Like each of the books this one is interactive! You can help the dragon in the library, say byebye to books (I am SO glad I am not the only one doing that at times, haha), sneaky glances, and much more. I always love it when books add interactive elements, it really involves you with the story, makes it come to life.

I love the message in this book. It wasn’t pushed in your face (like some other picture books I read over the years), but gently told in a fun story.

And of course the art is still fantastic!

All in all, I would recommend this one to everyone! It was just such a fun one to read and I love that it was about books and libraries and sharing! I love this dragon series and I would recommend them all, kids will definitely love them~
