Book Haul January 2025
Afternoon all!

Welcome all to a new Book Haul! January finally is leaving and February is coming so here I am sharing the books I added to my shelves in January! I got some fab ones~
I already told you all mostly how January went in my New Releases Feb post (see link here), but to add. On Sunday I visited my dad who is missing more and more items (he takes them along or others in the house take them as he leaves his door open at times) but he seems to be doing OK though at times quite angry. I had a talk with his personal helper and they are going to be chatting with an external place to see if they can help out my dad, especially at night he is restless and wanders around. Yup, my dad is a special case. The rest of the chat was about his character, me explaining stuff from my youth, and other things. It was a good talk. And the rest of the week was just calm with a visit to Libraries #1 and #2. Tomorrow I want to visit my dad + visit Library #4.
This month was a fantastic month full of books! I visited Belgium and had a lot of luck with books there (found 7 there), plus a local store of mine with a nice collection of second-hand books (after a renovation last year they added this) had some fun books as well. And I had some books come in as well. My most hyped book would be Jellyfish by Boum! That is one of the books I really wanted in 2024 but it was either not in stock or very overpriced due to people selling it for high prices on Amazon. But then this year I found it at a local store, ordered it, waited a bit, and my hubby picked it up for me! EEP!
I also added books to my Kindle: Strange Pictures (pre-order), Incidents Around the House, Red River Seven, Youthjuice, Pyramidia. Yes, this girl is into horror at the moment.
Did I read everything? Well, the three Kindle books are from last week, so I haven’t gotten to them yet. As for the stack you are about to see, I still have the top 5 books to go! I hope to read them soon, but other books have also been clamouring for attention (plus, add to that a new app filled with graphic novels/manga).
