Afternoon all!

Happy weekend all and a very happy welcome to a new Library Haul and a big welcome to a new library~

So as I said on other places/maybe this one as well, my Library #2 subscription changed. Apparently there was still a possibility for me to keep the subscription despite it not existing anymore, but I don’t like to take those odds and maybe have things end like it did with the previous Library #2 (who with 4-5 months to go just changed my subscription). I decided to switch my subscription to the more safe and existing ones. And then decided to find another Library #4 as I wouldn’t be able to use my subscription of Library #2 anymore to visit that one (the max books the highest subscription allowed is 10, yup, no more 24 books). And the library #4 I had didn’t have such a fun subscription (plus some extra costs as well to get that subscription). So I checked elsewhere and then set my eyes on a library in a nearby city that I often visit. They did have a fun subscription (20 books, no fees, no extra costs, 6 weeks to have books at your home) + I found out that they also had something extra, namely Comics Plus. An American app that allows the reader to read ENDLESS (well, ok somewhere between 30-40k of books) graphic novels/manga. For free. Let me say that again, for FREE. So I wouldn’t just be able to use the library, but also read tons and tons of comics/manga without extra cost and no limit on borrowing in that app. gasp If I turn into a hermit everyone, you now know why. 😆

And yesterday was the day! Got a subscription, got a card, and then went exploring. This library is HUGE. Has 24.000 m² of space, I believe 6 floors (I didn’t get to explore them all just yet). A very nice collection of English both for kids/YA but also for adults. And much more. I was at times a bit lost, haha, but thankfully there were kind librarians ready to help out a gal who wasn’t sure where to find things. I wandered around, gasped/squealed/danced/fangirled (sorry to the peeps who were studying, I was just too excited), picked up books left and right (RIP my arms and shoulders, haha), and had such a fantastic time! I kept finding books to the point that I had to make some tough decisions and just to go with what I really really wanted this first time visiting. Next time I will get the other books, if I don’t get distracted again. 😝

I got 14 books, of which 3 are for my hubby. Those are not on the picture or list below, as soon as I got home I handed them to my hubby and I haven’t seen them back, haha. I am happy that he is so happy with my finds.
