Library Haul ~ 4-1-2025 (Library #1)
Afternoon all~
Welcome all to a shiny new Library #1 Haul! I needed new books and this library had some new books!
I was planning on going this upcoming week, but since I had to ask about my subscription at Library #2 (they changed stuff), plus bring back Library #4 books and saying bye to it for this year (I will be visiting a new library in a different city look forward to that in February), plus I wanted to check out the H&M sale (70% off!!) which is located at the city of Library #1 (see where I am going with this, that means I could visit that library). I looked at my hubby with puppy eyes and asked if he could drive me to all the places, haha, not planning on biking to all of that, it would cost me a long while. Not to mention, too many books to drag around on a bicycle.
I had 4 reservations waiting! And one book is still at home (Tessa Bailey’s The Au-Pair Affair which I hope to read soon). So that meant I had room for 10 books! I was hoping to find a few more books to bring along. Yes, my physical TBR is crying as it has grown big this week, haha, but he has to live with that. My hubby and I had fun walking around, or well, I had fun, my hubby was a bit tired and so tuning out a bit. I am delighted to say that I found quite a few more books to bring along, not 10, but 7 books! A lot of them fun non-fiction books that look great and I cannot wait to start reading.
What to read first I hear you ask, well, for now I will pick a book from my physical tbr and then I will probably go for either the wedding book or Hans Dorrestijn.
Yellowface by Rebecca F. Kuang
De grote cavia-kwis by Mathilde Stein

Awesome haul Mehsi! You are starting the new year off right, that’s for sure! How did you do and H and M? My daughters love that store too! Next weekend I have promised them a trip to Barnes and Noble. We haven’t bought books in so long and I told them I will give them each one hundred dollars but they have to spend it at the bookstore, not at the Boba Cafe next door!🤷😂
I hope you love all of your new reads and that you get to read all of them! Hopefully no DNF’s!📚⛄☕😁💜
Thank you, Susan!😘 And I definitely am! I did super! At Belgium I got 2 sweaters and 3 skirts (with 50% sale), then yesterday at Library #1’s city I got 2 shirts, a blouse, and a scarf (at 70% sale). And I had some items that I loved but weren’t in my size and so I bought those online today, 3 skirts and a fluffy pants (with 70% sale), so a lot, but they were so cheap and gorgeous and I had to have them. I love a good sale!
Oh, I love that! Hope they find some wonderful books (and not just boba, haha). 😆
Thank you, Susan! Hopefully, I am done with DNF’s! 😰
