I received this book from the author in exchange of an honest review.

I just couldn’t say no! The book looked too adorable, and sounded too adorable! It looked like the kind of book I could perfectly use (reading this in January) and I can tell you this was indeed the right book for today! This was just oodles of fun~

In this adorable book we meet a snub-nosed monkey named Harry. Who is very loved by everyone in the zoo (and just look at him, he is adorable). He loves his enclosure, loves bananas (so so much), and he loves doing tricks. And that is how one day he ends up out of his cage and out to explore the wide world! From riding a garbage truck to eating yummy sweets to causing chaos (not always his fault). It was super cute to see him discover the town and find all sorts of fun things to follow. He really found the perfect spots and I was just laughing at seeing him sneak in and try out things.

Poor Harry though, he just wanted to have some fun/discover the place (plus he was a tad confused by his new surroundings), but instead got brushes, shoes and other things to his head. I would have liked to see people a bit kinder or getting him out of their stores in a more humane/kinder way.

I love it when the title comes back in the book, and in this one not just once, but many times, it is constantly said by anyone who talks (or shouts) to Harry. It made me laugh to see the various emotions behind that sentence. From happy to frustrated to angry to happy again.

Oh, and the ending was so cute! It made me smile. I wish Harry a good sleep and many happy dreams~

The art was just the cutest! I love the design of Harry, but I also love the backgrounds and all the details~ I really enjoyed it!

All in all, if you are looking for a fun book about a monkey on the run and discovering the city (and yummy snacks) be sure to check this one out!
