😍 Olivia was adorable and I could understand her wish, she definitely deserves happiness after all she has gone through along with “fun” American healthcare bullshit. I loved that she stayed mostly calm throughout the book and was eager to learn more of the place she had landed. Plus, I loved that she didn’t freak out about Rovann. Then again, it was him or the ogre… but even later we see that she is settling quite nicely in the pace and the world and I was delighted. I loved that she tried to communicate with Rovann even with the language barrier.
😍 Rovann! He was so handsome and sweet. He was a real gentleman and I loved that we also got his POV and his views on things. I loved how protective and sweet he was with Olivia and how he tried to make her comfortable in many scenes. Oh, and he had such smooth and romantic lines. I was just swooning!
😍 While it was pretty much instalove, I could forgive it as I could see the love between these two characters. There was so much chemistry right from the start. I was just rooting for them to get together for real and start exploring things in earnest.
😍 Olivia’s magic! OMG, I need that!
😍 Hurtle! He was such a grumpy character, but I could see he had his heart in the right places. Plus, I loved how he was swayed by food, haha. Though he will definitely say he isn’t.
😍 The pixies! They were just the cutest (though don’t fuck with them as they will flock you and stab you) and I loved their reactions to the foods that our MC was able to give them. They were so enthusiastic about pizza that they even use it as a battle cry (which I can totally understand because pizza is delicious). I loved how they befriended the MC and how they were always there within seconds if there was food.
😍 The sex scenes were nicely written, very spicy and steamy.
😍 I loved that Rovann wasn’t immediately going for sex, even if he had an erection, he wanted to make sure that his bride would be able to understand him and know what was going on. And get some proper introductions going. Plus, while there was some fingering, the real sex wasn’t until the end when they got to the village.
😍 The battle scenes, wow. I was cheering for Rovann, but also for our MC who kicked some serious ass and even with her magic as it was she was doing fabulous. I didn’t know you could use that for that, but now I know, haha.
😍 Loved the village and the orcs there! They were all so sweet for the MC and really helped her settle and feel more comfortable.
😍 Loved the bonding/mating sequence, that was sweet (and sexy).
😍 I would love to learn more about this world, but I am happy that the author already gives us plenty of fun hints and told us about the magic, about the goddess, about moon brides, and others. I am curious to explore more of this world.

🤢 Ewwww at those ogres. Those were some fucked-up characters. I knew what to expect (this isn’t my first fantasy), but still. Eww. 🤢🤢🤢🤢

🤔 I was so confused at the piercings part to the point I even chatted to my hubby about it, for me the top part of the erection is the tip of the penis, but then during sex the piercing wouldn’t be able to do what he did, in the end my hubby and I agreed that it was just a foldable penis. Penisgami. XD

😖 Not to yuck on anyone’s yum, but as I said before I don’t find it in any way attractive or sexy when people get covered in sperm/seed. So, great that the stuff is aphrodisiac and helps with the process, but gosh darn it it was so disgusting to the point that I was turned off and had to either skim or just not think about it. I mean they are practically bathing in it. 🤢 At one point his dick just kept coming and I was thinking he was a cow or something. 😆

All in all though, I loved this novella and flew through it. Fabulous characters, sweet romance, a great setting, and more! I would recommend it!
