Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 9-3-2025
Hello all!
Happy weekend/Happy Sunday, welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!
This week was a mix of doing all the things and taking it easy. I got in a bit of spring-cleaning with the house. On Saturday I added some yearly plants (violas) in my garden while still waiting to hear something back from the guy who is going to do my garden. My hubby and I (as I didn’t always have the right grip strength) gave one of my trees a new hair cut, which was a lot of work even though it isn’t that big of a tree. On Thursday I visited the local garden centre to pick up those violas and I had Coco with me. She got a rare treat from me there, some yummy soft serve. The weather was sooooo good and we both wanted some cold. On Friday I visited Library #4! And today I may visit my dad. Depends on how I feel and how my hubby feels (as he has to drive me there, but he is also tuckered from the tree haircut). All in all, a week full of things~ I am glad I am well enough that I can do more and more. dances
Reading-wise, it was a good week, just not for my stack. Haha. My body just likes manga/comics/photography books more than books with words. It took me 3/4 days to read Girls Who Burn (which may also be because of the writing, haha). I hope my body makes the switch back soon because I got some fantastic books I want to read~
What did I read from my TBR? Spy x Family 10 (this was such a fantastic volume), Fragments of Horror (this was disturbing, weird, but also awesome).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? De zijdevilla (yawn).
And here is a new stack of hopefuls (so many), with many new books from Library #4 (see my haul here). Let’s see if I can actually read something from there next to the manga. A small edit on Sunday, I was able to finish Girls Who Burn late on Saturday, I thought I wouldn’t, but yay!
Thank you all for reading my post! Let me know in the comments what you think of my stack + what your plans are this upcoming week. I hope everyone has an amazing Sunday + an amazing week!
