Happy welcome to a new post with all the new releases I would LOVE to get my hands on/would love to read in May 2025.

Holy, April just flew by, I just cannot believe it is already almost May, it feels like April just started. What is up with this year. Can it chill down a bit, please. This month was a mix of being sick and being fine. Yep. Sick. My dad had influenza (which meant that everyone entering and working there had to wear a mask which had me wondering if my dad recognised me as the times I wore a mask he didn’t know until I lifted it up and showed my face, but this time he recognised me) and well he gave it to me (thanks dad, haha). Which meant about 1-2 weeks of feeling crap, especially since, unlike February’s flu this one was mostly feeling nauseous/having to throw up/dizzy, yuck! Thankfully, I am all better now, so yay! I cannot wait to visit my dad again now I feel better again, which I will do tomorrow.
The rest of the month was uneventful, doing all the day to day stuff, visiting libraries, look at my garden forlornly and hope that the garden dude will start soon because I am just itching to do things in my garden now that it is all blooming, I cleaned up the garden furniture so that when the weather gets good we can sit outside, I did plenty of blogging, read more books.

And May brings a lot of new books that I hope to read or get. English and Dutch, I just love these months in which so much is released. I never get to it all, and the Dutch books generally take a while to get added to the library so I always have a fun time when I see a book I had been meaning to get/read. It is going to be a great month! I cannot wait.

What books are you looking forward to in May? Let me know if you would recommend anything to me!
