Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 6-4-2025
Afternoon all!

Happy weekend, happy Sunday! Welcome all to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~
This week was mostly uneventful though filled with daily/weekly things to do. Then on Friday I visited my dad, he had a very good mood/was clear, but apparently he has influenza and he was huffing and puffing from the just the slightest bit of moving. There are also others on his floor that have it. My dad should be isolated, but good luck telling someone with later-stage dementia that, especially one who always kept going when under the weather, so he is allowed to wander around. But since there is influenza everyone has to wear masks. For now he is mostly out of breath, coughing, a tad hot, sneezing, but I did ask that if things got a bit more that they would call me. As for my uncle and aunt.. sighs They are already the type of eww-vaccines and eww-masks, so they weren’t happy and made a rather dumb/rude/stupid comment when I texted them about the influenza and mask wearing, they don’t seem to understand that they can also bring along germs and such and that is why everyone needs to wear masks. Plus, they think influenza is JUST a cold. I had a whole text message ready but decided against it and just ignored them. sighs Oh well, I hope that they don’t bother the care people about it. And I hope my dad gets better soon.
On Saturday my hubby and I (and Coco) visited the local garden centre which was celebrating their anniversary and had all sorts of fun things, including a ballpit for dogs with tons of snacks. Coco was at first a bit hesitant about it, but then found out about the snacks, haha. So cute!
Reading-wise a very good week with plenty of fantastic and fun reads~
What did I read from my TBR? DragonForged (love love love this one, it was so fun), Hidden Pictures (OMMMMMMGGG this was such a ride), Rex (this was hilarious and fun), Achter elke powervrouw (this was an interesting read with great illustrations), Eropuit met je hond (I need this book for my own shelves, so many fun ideas), Togo (cute and exciting), J.D. And the Great Barber Battle (pretty good, though I wasn’t a fan of the end), Frizzy (I wanted to hug the MC so many times), Escape from St. Hells (interesting), Solo Levelling #2 and #3 (oohhh these were good, love the battles and the art), Kaiju 8 #5 (had to get back to it, but I liked it a lot)
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? The Lisa Marie Presley book (it was too chaotic and I didn’t like Lisa that much).
Here is a new stack! Full of Library #4 books, one from Library #1, and several physical books of my own that I hope to read~ I am excited!

A big big thank you for reading my post (and for liking/reading my posts this week), let me know in the comments what you think of my stack + what your reading plans are~ Have a fantastic week everyone!

I hope so too! I am going to call the care place tomorrow and see how he is doing. Nope, it can be deadly for him. 🙁
Yup. Geez Louis, that girl did everything you shouldn’t do. XD
Thank you, and so far my week is OK, with the exception of the flu. 🙁 Hope you are having a great week and enjoying all your books~
