Greetings everyone~

A very happy welcome to a new post full of new releases I would love to get my grabby hands on in June.

Can you imagine it is almost June? What the heck is up with this year. As I also said in previous months, this year is just going by too fast for me. It wasn’t a bad month, just a bit stressful at times. My aunt/uncle made things not that easy (what a surprise), plus my garden is finally being revamped and by the time this post will go live in a few days will probably be done or very near to done. It is great fun to see the garden (front/back) transform in the way I wanted, but it was also stressful as at times the gardener’s helpers weren’t that sweet on my plants (much to the frustration of the gardener who got the complaints from me or my hubby).
My dad is doing pretty fine. I visited him on the 4th as it was the day before his birthday. Thankfully, he had a clear day and an hour flew by. We had a good time but after that hour it was clear he was tired and we left. He loved the two books + a plant plushie I got for him. And today I am planning on visiting again, I wanted to go last week but the stress of my aunt/uncle combined with garden and not sleeping too well meant it wouldn’t be wise to go through the 3+ hours of travelling.
As for the rest of the month, well just your day to day stuff, library visits, getting some new books, enjoying the fabulous weather.

And I am eager for this upcoming month. Of course the books, but also 6th wedding anniversary on the 22nd I got a fun present in mind perfectly fitting the material for this anniversary. Now on to books, haha, I got plenty of fun books that I am just hoping to read this month. A nice blend again of Dutch and English which makes me happy. In English most is horror/thriller, in Dutch it is a blend of horror/thriller and children’s books. It’s going to be great as I am still in my horror mood. I think out of all the books my two most OMG need to have books are the new Montgomery BonBon and Strange Houses.
