Review: The Haunted Blizzard
I received this book from Edelweiss in exchange of an honest review.
👻How atmospheric it was! You could just see the storm, see it worsening, see creepy things crawling, you just felt uncomfortable reading, you just wanted to scream at the main character and tell her to get the heck in and lock the doors and get all those lights blazing.
👻The art was fab. I really love the style, and I especially love how the scary monsters were drawn.
👻It was short but it felt like a complete story.
👻I love the culture/people shown along with words they use (though I would like to have had a translation for some words).
👻HECK NOPE to the ending.
🤔How dumb our MC is. How she just goes in the freaking dark in a storm to her home while everyone is warning her. How when she sees something outside… she goes outside. There are so many dumb horror stuff that just made me lose all fighting power and I was just like, well, your loss. Have fun.
I would love some more of this writer/artist, more short stories, maybe a whole bundle of them? That would be so cool. Something a la Emily Carroll with her Through the Woods. I would recommend this scary story to all.
