A hilarious book about glue and that maybe you shouldn’t use too much (just kidding, just go for it).

Meet Matty a kid who knows that glue can be a bit much, but well with a dad who absolutely LOVESSSSS making glue projects and mom who willingly participates it is hard to not LOVE the stuff endlessly. So during art class of course this kid goes for the biggest baddest most fullest bottles of glue and just SQUIRT, FLOOOOOP and it is all over the table. Yup. It is a lot of glue, but I was loving every bit of it, though I didn’t expect Matty to do what he does next. Then again, now I kinda want to do the same, haha. My inner child is just so excited. Oh, can someone make a time machine, I can just tell my kid self to do this, haha.😂😂

Of course, you can imagine what happens when you throw all the glue you can find on a table and flop on it yourself along with some glittery and eyeball decorations. Yup. Matty is stuck and what follows is the hilarious attempts of his classmates (who think what he did was just the coolest, at least going by facial expressions) to get him off the table before school is over. Even the school nurse and the principal come in, though their attempts, well, they should have just stayed away, haha. I was curious if they would get the kid off, or if he would just have to be carted to home table and all. But what happens next made me smile and laugh, that is great parenting.

And that is not even the end of it. The end made me laugh so hard. Oh dear. I think I can see a second book coming.

The art was another fabulous part of this book. The expressions on everyone’s faces was just fantastic. Like when Matty makes that bellyflop into the glue and his friend behind him just gets big eyes and is like WOW. Or when the teacher sees the mess. Or how Matty looks when he is a blucky stucky glue boy. Or the classmates as they try to help him out. Fantastic!

All in all, if you need a big big belly laugh I would highly recommend this book. This was just so much fun. And again, time machine? Anyone? Or do I really need to put my adult body in a bath of glue for giggles?🫣🤣
