Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 11-5-2025

Hey!!

A very happy Sunday to all (hope everyone is having a great weekend). Welcome to a sparkly new Sunday’s TBR Updates!

This week was a pretty OK week. Mostly just the normal stuff. On Friday I popped by a branch of Library #2, mostly because there was a book/plant sale next to the library at the local church and of course I couldn’t resist (and I found a gorgeous book). On Saturday my hubby and I first visited a local garden centre for their big opening and of course, despite my garden being fixed/changed I couldn’t resist and picked up some plants and other fun things, after this we popped by Library #3 to get some new books! Oh, and Coco isn’t feeling too well it seems, on Thursday and Friday night she just kept barking and whining though we couldn’t find anything obviously wrong, but they are working on the roads nearby and maybe one of the generators makes a noise that she now (since that same generator was closer to our house some months ago) fears. And so we barely slept those two nights. But we tried out medication (in case it was her hip) and music (in case of the generator) and on Saturday night it was quiet!
Oh, and remember last week when I said I would pop by my dad on Sunday (4-5) well, we did and he was awake and very clear so we could give him some pressies and he was delighted.
Reading-wise, what a week! I had fun reading from the stack along with some books I got throughout the week.

What did I read from my TBR? Come Fly the World (slow/went on tangents but a good book), Roller-Skate With One Leg (this was a sweet read, I really enjoyed it), Een fractie van een seconde (at times chaotic but an interesting read), Zeg maar Joske (this was OK), Dungeon Runners (didn’t like Kit that much, but the rest was a lot of fun, that dungeon was so cool), Grumpfort (meh, too much like other books), De boekentoer (WTF did I read), Stel dat het morgen vrede wordt (gorgeous), Oshi no Ko #5 (loved this one), Blue Period #5 to #7 (so much fun to read though a bit dialogue heavy at times), Kaiju 8 #7 – #9 (WOW WOW WOW WOW).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? De Cudogham (boring, I had expected different), Roadtrip naar Auschwitz (didn’t get into this one).

And here is a new stack with some books from Library #2 and Library #3 which I visited on Friday and Saturday. I am very excited about this week’s stack.

A big big thank you to all for reading my posts + liking/reading my posts from the past week. I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and is having a great weekend. Let me know in the comments if you have any fun Reading/Otherwise Plans. Have a wonderful week, enjoy!
