Happy Sunday all! I hope everyone is having a good weekend. With a slight bump, so far mine is fine as well. Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates.

Week 2 of my backyard happened, we got the deck in, some of my own plants are in, some other things are now good, we just need the last bit of fencing, the deck needs a few more planks, and I need more plants in the front and back. But it is coming together and I love it! Other than most of the week was just the same with day to day stuff. I also visited my dad on Friday, he was doing well and looked quite good. I brought him a magazine about the Tour de France which he loved, plus some of his favourite candies. It was nice to see him again! Then on my way back home I popped by Library #4 to pick up some new books! On Saturday my hubby and I went to my parents house as my aunt/uncle are cleaning it up for my mom (I offered help months ago but no one took me on my offer so eh) and well, I loved seeing my old home it was a time capsule as my mom just kept a lot of the stuff we had when I was a kid/teen. But things were a bit ruined by the fact that my aunt forced me to take a lot of crap that I didn’t want to bring along. Yes force, if I tried to talk her out of it she just got mean/harsh/angry, so I just said yes. My OG plans were some smaller items (photos some small toys maybe) along with the wedding crockery/set of my dad/mom as that is something I really wanted. I am already thankful not everything fit in our car otherwise we would have drowned in stuff. Afterwards my hubby and I decided we could use some happiness so we visited a big petshop nearby (Coco was with us) along with getting some beers at another store. And when we got home we immediately went through the stuff and yeeted almost all of it out (it is now waiting in the shed until we can get it to the garbage part in our neighbourhood). We just wanted it done. Now I just need to sort out the little I wanted to have and give it a place at home. Phew. And now it is Sunday and we are planning to just relax. Read, game, game, sleep. Haha.
Reading-wise, a pretty good week with some fabulous reads! Library and my own books. I almost started some arcs but I want to save those for my Netgalley/Edelweiss post that is upcoming.

What did I read from my TBR? Gordon starts a band (a lot of fun though I wanted more band), Unico (loved this one, so magical), Oorlogstranen (it went on a tangent at times but still a good read), 1991 (this was so spooky and fun), Blue Period #9 (dialogue heavy again but still a good part in the series), Undead Unluck 1 – 3 (I laughed so hard reading this one), Fred van Leer (I learned some new things and had fun), Meisje met hijab (a cute read though felt like it could use some editing), Pia’s Pet Club (like the MC/art, but the rest not so much), The Unworthy (HOLY HECK).

Here is a new stack. Yes, all library books (some new from Library #4/#2) I really want to focus on getting my library books read (or at least try reading). I just got too many at this point and I notice that it is getting a bit much.

A big big thank you for reading my post (plus for all the love on my other posts from the past week), let me know in the comments what you are hoping to read next week/what you think of my stack. I hope everyone has a great Sunday along with a fantastic week~ Enjoy your books!
