Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 4-5-2025
Greetings all!
Happy Sunday! Happy welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!
So most of the week was just your day to day stuff. Along with some stress thanks to my aunt and uncle again. The rest was filled with two visits to Library #1 and #4, enjoying the glorious warm weather, we popped by one of our friends and had a great Saturday afternoon/eve, and today I am going to visit my dad to celebrate his birthday (it is tomorrow, but we cannot go then so today it is). I got some great presents for him (two books and a plant plushie), let’s see if he is awake today, otherwise I will just put the pressies on his desk and add a note.
Reading-wise, wow, what a week. A great week full of books from my stacks, new books I got, ARCs.
What did I read from my TBR? Drakenstorm (GASP), Deadstream (OMG OMG OMG OMG flails), Feral #2 (OOOOOHHHHHHMMMGOOSSHHH), Blaffende honden bijten soms (this was quite fun), Blue Period #2 – #4 (I am happy I continued this series this was fab), Mashle #1 – #3 (just as good as the anime), Een straatagent kijkt achterom (interesting), Binnenwegplein (interesting).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Murder on Lake Garda (meh characters), Zombie Train (meh characters and weird story).
And here is a big big new stack. I visited Library #1 on Thursday and #4 on Friday and um, well I got a few new books hides. Also I got several new physical books so um. Even more books. If I don’t respond, I have been eaten by books.
