New Releases I Hope to Read in July 2025
Hello all~

A sparkly welcome to a new post featuring the NEW books I would love to read in July! EEP!
June has flown by again, haha. You blink and it is over. But it was a pretty good month. Fabulous weather (though haha at times it was a bit too much with 32+C), I did some gardening because the gardener is just not coming with the last bit he needs to do, which is more plants. Or in case of the front garden, actual plants and not weeds and random pumpkin plants that started popping up. But I want to sit on the chairs on my new deck in the back garden so I did a spot of weeding and cleaning up. I also bought some new plants and added them into pots and spread them around the path (yes, I just needed some new fresh plants and some more colours). Plus, I started a garden veggie box, added 2 pumpkin plants from the overload in the front garden, some basil, and a strawberry plant. I also have 3 small pots of mint seeds and I am hoping everything will go fine. Next year I hope to go for carrots and radishes. Plus, also go for a dedicated herb box. I saw my dad once this month, though I will be visiting in 5 days again, so technically 2. I wanted to go more often but the trains were on strike a few times + my body just gave up for a few days and taking a trip of 3+ hours in total was just not healthy. He wasn’t doing that well, didn’t remember my hubby, was rude to us, didn’t care about Coco whereas he normally just lights up like a beacon seeing her. So I cleaned up his room, gave him a hug and when he sat down rubbed his back/shoulders and let him now I still loved him despite it all. Hopefully when I visit in 5 days he will have a much better day.
Coco, well, she had some things this month. Her neck/head muscles were hurting so she had to get medicines and we had to check her neck was getting better by some exercises. And the last 3 nights she has been barking around 4-5 am and we got annoyed because nothing seemed to be up, until apparently the borks from last night meant that she didn’t feel well and is having a case of running poops. The poor thing. We visited the vet and she has a stomach bug, so she got a shot and has to take some pills for the next few days.
As for the rest, my hubby and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary by visiting Avifauna and eating a yummy restaurant. He got me some iron bookstands in the shapes of owls for our anniversary present which I so so love! We also visited Rotterdam Rooftop Walk/Rooftop Days and went down the big big big slide at Maritiem Museum (look it up, it was epic). I read quite a lot from manga to picture books, though I should really start on BBNYA when I can. Haha, my head is just all over the place.
Now let’s go to the books that are coming out this new month! It ain’t that much, but I am very excited about them! I have, again, no pre-orders. Just wait till September, I got 3 then, haha. My most hyped book for the month? The Paul Tremblay book and The Official Lore Olympus Cookbook!
What are you eagerly waiting for this upcoming month? Anything fun that you think I would enjoy? Let me know in the comments!
