Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 1-6-2025
Afternoon~
Happy Sunday to everyone! Hope everyone is having a great weekend~ Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!
This week was mostly just the same as all weeks, daily stuff. But there were also fun things! On Thursday it was Ascension day so that meant a free day and lots of relaxing! On Friday my hubby and I had a free day as well and we went to the zoo with Coco (which she loved). On Saturday we visited Library #3 and checked out some new glasses for me, though I will need to wait until July as I will first have to do a new eye test as the last one was a few years ago (yes they are that busy, haha). On Sunday just relaxing.
Reading-wise, a lot of library books, haha, but also a couple of manga from Comics Plus and a few ARCs. To mix it up a bit, I am still a mood reader after all and I need some manga at times.
What did I read from my TBR? Verliefd op de directeur (this was a fun read, not a fan of the two instances of cheating), Een zwaluw in de kamer (OK, but the endings could use work), Unordinary #2 (wow, this was so cool, I need more), Living in Mexico (I wanted to step in the book so badly), Grim Reaper #1 (this was so kick-ass, I loved every moment), Onder de paramiroboom (a bit slow/not always a fan of parts, but I liked it in overall), Yemma (this broke my heart at times), Verboden terrein (eh), Het cheatboek (fun/OK), The Rom-Commers (LOVE THIS).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Nonny (the past part with grandma were perfect the now parts sucked), The summer I destroyed you (the MC was a bitch), Cat Among the Pigeons (I need more Poirot/boarding school and less conspiracies/palaces), The Convenience Store by the Sea (just more of the same stuff, no thank you).
Here is a new stack! We are back with physical books along with some new books from Library #3 and the one book from my library back log from last week. Plus, I want to read an ARC that needs to be read before it is too late. So I am quite excited about this week’s reading plans~
A big thank you to all reading this post (plus liking/commenting on this week’s posts (I will reply when I can). Let me know in the comments what your plans are this upcoming week, and I hope everyone has an amazing week~
