Afternoon!

Happy Sunday/weekend all! Welcome to a new hot/sticky (summer is here y’all) Sunday’s TBR Updates!

A week with mostly taking it easy + day to day stuff, but also a visit to Library #4 on Friday and a visit to the garden centre on Saturday with a cute Coco who got a small bit of ice cream, she doesn’t get it often (like once or so a month), but she knows where to go for it, haha.
The deck in the garden along with the fence is done, now I am just waiting for the plants. Hopefully soon!
As for my dad, well I hope to visit him today. I wanted to go on Friday but they were striking again and it was unsure if all the trains would go in the non-affected areas. I got some cookies and mint candies for him and I cannot wait to give him a big hug and see him again.
Reading-wise, a very very good week. With plenty from my stack and also several manga (Comics Plus 😍) and some ARCs. It was a great week and I cannot wait to see how next week goes~

What did I read from my TBR? A Good House for Children (a spoooky book though the ending was a let down), Belle of the Ball (love love love, so cute), Blue Period #9 (a bit too much dialogue but I had fun), Kaiju 8 #10 (OMG OMG OMGGGGGGG), De keuze van Colette (Urgh to Vanille but I liked the rest of the story), Centennial Shanghai (this was fun/interesting, loved the differences but also some that were the same), The Promised Neverland #3 (as if I had never left, this was so good), Undead Unluck #4 (eeppppppp, so much action and fun), Noragami omnibus (I had so much fun and I am delighted I can now read the whole series), Claudia Straatmans book (this was an interesting at times sad read).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Er komt er nog een (the writing style didn’t work for me), Kinderen in de oorlogstijd (same for this one).

And here is a shiny new stack! New library books + some from last week that I had saved. Also on the stack two new physical books that arrived this week (still waiting for another one). Not pictures is House with Good Bones which I am currently reading.
