Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 8-6-2025

Hi all!

Happy Weekend everyone! Welcome to to a shiny new Sunday’s TBR Updates!

A week full of things, mostly day to day stuff, and I am glad it is a long weekend and I can just relax. Especially with my hips/legs/back not being in a happy mood. I visited Library #2 on Monday and picked up a nice stack of books. On Wednesday I popped by Library #1 + visited the city of this library and went and got some new dresses (I came for one specific dress but it didn’t fit that well, but then I found 3 gorgeous other dresses). And on Friday I visited Library #4 and got a big pile of books.
I was planning to visit my dad this week, but on Friday there were no trains due to a strike and my hips/lower body is still hurting quite a bit so I also couldn’t go on Sunday, hopefully I can visit him either upcoming Friday or Sunday.
Coco has some medication as she is having some issues with the muscles in her neck/shoulders, hopefully it will work otherwise we have to see a physiotherapist to help her with that. Crossing fingers that the medication will work!
No new things happened in the garden, but the gardener said he would pop by on Wednesday, so crossing fingers that it is then that we get all the plants along with all the little things that still need to be done.
Reading-wise a good week though I strayed a bit from my TBR with books that were next to my nightstand (bigger photography books), some manga from ComicsPlus, and some ARCs. Haha. The curse of being a mood-reader.

What did I read from my TBR? The Hotel (WOW), Mashle 4/5 (hilarious, fun, and great fights), Deadendia (confusing but fun), Araya (this was an interesting read though I wanted more), Wij Beren (a bit depressing but in overall an interesting and fun read).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? The Marriage Act (many annoying POV and eh rest).

Here is a new stack of books with some new Library #4/#1 books. I am quite excited about these books and cannot wait to get to reading, and hopefully I can also get to reading some more physical books as I want to buy new books but want to wait until I got my physical TBR down a bit more.

A big thank you for reading my post (and all the other posts this week), I hope everyone has an amazing week and Sunday, let me know in the comments what your bookish plans are!
