Blog Tour ~ The Eighth Dwarf by R.A. Goli ~ Excerpt
Greetings~

A very magical and happy welcome to the Blog Tour for The Eighth Dwarf by R.A. Goli! I just love the Snow White story and so when I saw this darker retelling featuring one of the dwarfs, the 8th one, I knew I had to be part! I promoted this one a bit ago on my social media and now it is time to promote it here on my blog!
For today’s post I got a teaser, an excerpt, and book/author information.
Let’s get started!
A twisted fairytale of ambition, betrayal, and dark magic.
Everyone is familiar with Snow White’s story. What about the story of the dwarf who helped make her stepmother queen?
Tiberius is no hero. Rather, a curmudgeonly blacksmith with lofty aspirations, a tongue sharper than his chisel, and no tolerance for his seven roommates’ chirpy, sing-song lifestyles. Hi ho, hell no.
So when a witch offers him power, wealth, and a chance to live like a king in return for crafting an unbreakable coffin? He’s in. No questions asked. (He probably should have asked at least one or two.)
The catch? Now he’s the unwitting participant in the queen’s murder. Nothing works out as planned, and now he’s stuck with royal secrets and a vindictive sorcerer whose dark magic could end him if he makes one wrong move. Tiberius merely attempts to keep his head; the queen won’t remain dead, and the king demands answers.
The Eighth Dwarf is a twisted, humorous, and wickedly entertaining retelling of a dark fairy tale where there are fatal consequences for ambition, no one is innocent, and a happily-ever-after comes with a death toll.
Perfect for fans of The Witcher, Once Upon A Time, and Game of Thrones.

Inky shadows clung to the walls like fetid moss, and blackened spores sprouted across the ceiling as Daramond’s arcane magic spread through the room like a sentient beast. The air was soaked with the smell of dirt and rotting leaves, reminding Tiberius of a graveyard. Decay.
Another guard rushed the mage, and at Daramond’s command, the man was knocked against the wall. The remaining guard slashed at the mage with his sword and managed to nick his arm. Tiberius watched in horrified awe as Daramond knocked the sword from his hand and towered over him, reciting an incantation. The air in the room surged. A maelstrom swirled around the dark mage as his words became louder and more menacing. The atmosphere became thick and heavy. Tiberius found it hard to breathe.
