An adorable book about friendship and adventure~

Meet Bearsuit Turtle. He is, as you may have guessed, a turtle in a bearsuit. But he isn’t just a turtle in a bearsuit. No he is a for-real bear. No turtle to see her, no sirree. I absolutely loved the premise of this book and so when I spotted it at one of my libraries I had to bring it back home with me and I am so glad I did! Because this book was just the cutest and made me laugh. Once again, hello to Bearsuit Turtle! On one day while in his suit he meets another turtle (sans suit) who is definitely doubting the whole situation and is, according to himself, a bear-expert. And as I said our Bearsuit Turtle is not a Bearsuit but a For-Real Bear and so begins a fun challenge to prove he is really a bear. Which lead to some bear-activities like climbing and even hibernating (that part made me laugh so hard) but also some other activities that I have yet to see bears do. And otherwise I need to see it because a bear just smashing pumpkins on rocks sounds like a fun thing to watch.

I had so much fun seeing the two turtles get closer and just have a great time together and I was definitely curious how things would go as the story continued. Would our Bearsuit Turtle be honest? Is the other turtle really an expert? Well, I can promise you it will make your heart melt, it was just that cute and sweet. I am very happy with what happens last in the story, yay for both of them!

The art was just the cutest, and I love how colourful and playful it was. I love that for most you cannot even see that it is is a suit, it is just as if a turtle has been swallowed by a bear.

Oh, and I liked the list at the end with bear things, though there were a few on there that had me in stitches. I thought this is going to be the most serious part, and nope.

All in all, if you are in need for a hilarious, sweet, heart-melting, wonderfully drawn picture book I would recommend this one! I hope that we will see more Bearsuit Turtle~
