Review: Loki: A Bad God’s Guide to Unruly Activities

Loki A Bad God's Guide to Unruly Activities by Louie Stowell, White cover with a lot of fun doodles and the title in the middleLoki is back with a new story and fun activities!

I just LOVE the Loki series and I was hype that a fun activities book would be out!

In this book we follow Loki on a day. He has just done a prank that is horrifically disgusting (especially inside the house) and of course Heimdall is totally done with Loki at this point, so he gets grounded and his electronic devices taken away. Which led to Loki thinking he was totally fine and getting bored within seconds. Haha. Thankfully, which I found a bit odd but also kind of sweet, Heimdall allows Loki to have friends over. Starting with Valerie and later on Georgina. As the day continues and the story progresses we get fun activities to do. I loved how the activities really felt like those that Loki and his friends were also doing. I have read my share of activity books that go with a series but it often just felt like not connected to the story/series at all. But that is not the case here. That made the activities just tons more fun because it really felt like the characters had made them for themselves and the reader.

Now I am not one to write/do things in my books and while this one was mostly activities and fun it still felt too much like a book so I just did things in my mind/by using my finger when a maze was around.

The activities were such a delight. We get puzzles, mazes, spot the differences, pranks, and much more. There is never a dull moment and I also love that not only does Loki make things but also the voice of the diary, his friends.

Just like with each Loki adventure there are tons of fun illustrations that made me laugh.

All in all, highly recommend this one if you are fan of the series! I cannot wait to see what is next for Loki!
