Six in Six ~ 2025 Edition

Six in Six ~ 2025 Edition

Hi everyone! waves

Girl with a staff and a book moving left and right

A very happy welcome to my yearly post, hello to Six in Six 2025 Edition! New books! Tons of fun~

This year is much easier and calmer than last year. I found a good rhythm in visiting my dad whereas last year I was just trying to get there as often as I could even if things went south for my body, last year he fell over a lot because of medication and such but this year he is still wobbly but falls less, and yes he is going downwards with his Alzheimer and visits are tough but now I know what I can expect so it is less panicking like last year. My mom is getting the care she needs which is also a relief as last year I was worried about each phone call or message in regards to my mom. I am trying to care less about my aunt (and uncle though he seems the most normal of the two). So yeah, still chaotic, but a bit less. Plus, of course, there are other fun events this year, 6th wedding anniversary, a new garden front and back (though with some stress given how the communication went) with new and old plants, Coco is doing fab, my hubby and I visited zoos and other fun places, I read a ton of good books, I have a new library to visit. So this time I was even eager for this post!

I had fun going through the list and selecting some very fun topics. Like last time not the easiest as there are so many fabulous topics that I just want to do, haha. As I said last year can we just not do a 10 in 10? But I managed to get things selected and search for some great books for each category. I would recommend each and every book, so be sure to check them all out if you have the chance. There is something for everyone!

And of course, I am looking forward to the next half of the year, let’s see what that one will bring! Both in life and books/blogging~

What is it all about?

The idea being that as the end of June approaches and we are then halfway through the year, let us share the books we have read in those first 6 months. In fact let’s shareΒ 6 books in 6 categories, or if time is of the essence then simply share just 6 books. Whatever combination works for you as long as it involves 6 books. Of course the same book can obviously feature in more than one category.

Who is the creator?

This meme was made by Jo over at The Book Jotter. Be sure to check out her page as it features ALL the categories you can pick from + more information.
