A delightful welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates! Hope everyone is having a fun weekend~

Most of the days were just day to day, but I had some fun moments! On Wednesday I took Coco along with me to the local garden store. I had cleaned up my front door entrance (some plants are past their season and there were a few things left from Christmas that now finally gave the ghost) so I wanted to get some new plant babies! So now my front door entrance part is looking fab and gorgeous. And next week on Wednesday I will visit again to pick up my hortensia, I wanted a little one and they had to order those as they were all sold out.
On Friday I took Coco with me to visit my dad, it is the first time I took her alone to him, but I needed her doggy carriage because my uncle/aunt had put something at the nurse station for me to pick up and I wasn’t sure how big it would be (I was expecting huge given everything). So Coco experienced her first metro and first train ride. With some medication as she gets motion sickness. Along the way we visited some stores, there is a Free Fashion shop at the train station and last week I had some luck there and while I didn’t have luck at first on my way back I visited again and this time I did find items. Coco was loved the whole way, she got pets, hugs, and lots of fangirling from people. It was so sweet to see everyone love her so much and I love how Coco absorbed it all with happiness. My dad wasn’t much in the mood, he was grumpy and acted as if he was asleep, so I just stayed next to him a bit and chatted about the Tour de France and other stuff, gave him hugs, and stuff, I knew that he wanted it even if he said he didn’t. I also chatted with some of the care people and therapists there. But I am at least happy I saw him, and I hope next time he is a bit happier. Coco didn’t get love from him, but she did from various other oldies and the care people.
On Saturday Coco and I were tuckered out. Coco slept for most of the day, whereas I had some plans, including picking up my bicycle now it was fixed + get some food items we needed.
Sunday is more sleeping and relaxing. I very much needed that!
OH OH great news! I told you last week we heard back from the guy making the plans for the plants in my garden, well this week we heard from the gardener he will start planting this upcoming week on Tuesday. I CANNOT WAIT to finally have a complete garden back and a gorgeous new garden in the front. EEP!
Reading-wise, well, I had fun with my new library books + tried some ARCs + whatever I could read. I also had a few DNF, and some days all I could read was just a fun photography book as my eyes were just tired to read words.

What did I read from my TBR? Pep en het zingende scheetkussen (OMG you guys this was hilarious and so fun), Destiny Ink (fun and cute but I didn’t like the magical element), HunterxHunter 10 (oohhh this was full of action and great moments), Het kapselboek (I got so much inspiration), Sports Stars and their Stories (I learned a lot and I had a lot of fun, Kate Pankhurst did it again), Twee Papa’s (this was such a sweet read), Hallo Mama (this made me laugh so many times).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Meer kattenkwaad (this was a collection of stories from other books so I recognised some), Lula Dean’s (meh), Alles (boooring and some stuff just didn’t match).

Here is a new stack with some books left-over from the previous week and some new library books! I am excited to get to read it!

A big thank you to all who read my post + shared/loved/liked/commented my posts this last week, you are all amazing~ I hope everyone has an amazing weekend + week, hopefully with many fabulous books~

  1. Did you take pictures of your front entrance Mehsi? I bet it looks amazing!

Sorry your dad was grumpy but at least you got to see him and hug him! He is very lucky to have a sweet daughter like you!

Have a fantastic week and stay cool! The coming week is always the hottest week of the year here in North Carolina!😪😪

    1. Yes, I did! Don’t think I can add pics to the comment field, but if I don’t forget I will add it to next week’s TBR Updates~

      Aww! 🥰

Thank you! And I am trying, temperature wise it is not that bad, but the humidity is so HIGH and everything is just sticky. Oh dear, what temperatures are you expecting? Stay cool, enjoy your reads, and all the ice cream you can!
