Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 27-7-2025
Greetings!

Happy weekend all, I hope everyone is having a great weekend~ Welcome all to a shiny new Sunday’s TBR Updates!
This week was tiring, but also a good week. A lot of day to day stuff, but also…. my front garden is all done! My back garden needs an apple tree and some plants and then it is done as well! WHOO! It took a long time, lots of miscommunication, but finally I can start enjoying my garden in full. Whoo! On Wednesday I visited the garden centre to see if a plant I ordered was there already (nope) and I found some other plant babies for my front door entrance. On Thursday I visited Library #1 and on Friday Library #4. Saturday was some stuff that we needed to get (along with visiting the glasses store as one of my new glasses magically decided to just add a little burst in the glass) + we visited a best friend in the evening for beer (mostly 0.3/0.5 for me) and fun. And today I hope to just sleep for most, maybe bake something if I feel up to it.
Reading-wise, a bit all over the board. Some DNF, some books I just wasn’t into, but also some very fun/great reads. ComicsPlus also added some new things and of course I had to read those.
What did I read from my TBR? Kaiju no 8 #11 to #13 (WOWWOWWOWOWWOW), Speler 13 (ohhh this was quite good and exciting), Enkele reis sobibor (at times a bit all over the place, but still a strong book), Grieselstate 1 (weird translation/weird things/stupid tropes, but I loved the art and the boarding school setting), Het park (soooo fun and soooo cute).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Return to Sender (didn’t like where it was going), Chaos als voorgerecht (the love interest was such a fucking ass), Limbo #1 (weird translation, wayyyy too much dialogue, little sense), Keep it in the family (child murders/graphic details nah), The Lego Engineer (I thought it would be building instruction along with some fun photographs, but there was a lot different that I didn’t care about).
And here is a new stack! With two from last week and the rest from Library #1 and #4! I cannot wait to read these + I am also excited that it is almost vacation (August 1st) and that I can start reading my vacation books. So this is not entirely the complete stack, but I don’t want to spoil my Vacation TBR before my post on the 1st.

A giant thank you all for reading my post + liking/commenting/sharing this past week. You are all amazing! I hope everyone has a fantastic week + weekend, let me know in the comments what you are reading this upcoming week~
