Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 3-8-2025 (Vacation Edition)

Hi!

Welcome all to a new Sunday’s TBR. My vacation is still going strong! 3 days in and loving it. This will be the last TBR Updates until the end of my vacation, I thought it would be fun to do one at the start, but not really in the mood to do more.

This week meant some preparing so I could get my vacation started perfectly. Plus, also a lot of tiredness and a flare up in my eczema in my face/neck (meh). On Friday Coco and I visited a shopping mall and had great fun, though Coco was just falling asleep at the way back after getting tons and tons of love from people + all the good scents she sniffed. On Saturday my hubby and I went to the local garden centre to check out the sale, and I got some very fun items for my outside walls + garden. After that we visited Library #3, got some new Lego (One Piece and Halloween and some other things). And today is relaxing!
Reading-wise, a pretty good week, I had some fab books. Plus, some fun arcs! And in the mean time trying to stay away from my vacation TBR, haha.

Oh, and I promised pictures of my entrance/front garden/back garden, and technically I got one for the entrance.. but I added new things to the walls and new plants (yes again, haha). And the last few days it has been pouring, so I haven’t been able to get good shots. When I am back from my blogging vacation I will add them to the Sunday’s TBR Updates then, we should get some good weather soon.

What did I read from my TBR? De schaduwvrouw (this was such a ride), Swift and Saddled (swoons, this was such a sweet and cute read), Undead Unluck 7 (perfection), Na jou (gorgeous art, meh the rest), You Only Spy Twice and This Book Will Self-Destruct (two fabulous fun and funny books about a dog spy and all he does).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? I am not Jessica Chen (meh, the writing style didn’t click), Bluebird Bluebird (not my book), Growing Things (first story was eh, second was boring/weird, didn’t care for the rest), De Grenshonden (writing style was all over the place), Flatland (this caused me more nausea).

And here is my first stack for my vacation week! I am so excited to get started on some new library books + my vacation TBR! dances

A big thank you to all for reading my post, and a bigger thank you for liking/reading/sharing/commenting on my posts from this past week. sends love I hope everyone has a great weekend + great week, hope it is filled with books and happiness.

Enjoy all of your books, almost time for a new pile no?

I have a touch of eczema too. My doctor phoned in some cortisone cream and when I remember to apply it, it goes away!🤷🤦‍♀️😂📚💜📚💜

    1. So far I am having the best vacation! 🥰🥰

Haha, sorry sorry! I was really planning on it but the weather just said heck no to those plans. 🙈

Thank you! And yes, I am currently starting on a new pile! Hopefully I can read most of them this week~

Hopefully your eczema has lessened (and you forgot to apply cream, haha). 🥰
