Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 31-8-2025
Hi!!

Happy Sunday everyone!!! Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~
This week was tiring, my body really had to get back into the normal mode again and wasn’t always amused, haha. Most of the week was just day to day stuff, but on Friday I visited my dad. He was doing OK-ish, though he was quickly tired and I didn’t stay around long as he wanted his rest, but at least I could chat with him a bit and give him some love. I cleaned up his room (and found something ewww), put new snacks and sweets in the right spots, put a new magazine about Formula One near his chair so he can find it. Hopefully next time he feels a bit better and I can stay longer. After that I visited Library #4’s city which is on the way home, got some new Halloween things at TK Maxx, searched and found some more pressies for my hubby who is having his birthday on the 15th of September, and then visited the Library. It was tiring, but fun! On Saturday I wanted to get some shinies from the Pokemon Go community day, and in a bit I need to visit the garden centre to pick up some Coco food, but after that I will just be lying down, haha. Because 3 weekends of lots of activity and my body is screaming at me. Especially my lower body. Sorry, body, too many fun things.
Reading-wise, a pretty good week! I had fun reading from my stack + also read some MangaPlus manga, I visited Renaissance David and Hokkaido Girls and checked out some new series.
What did I read from my TBR? My Little Museum Egypt and Greece (LOVE LOVE these two, had fun with the stickers), Word nooit besties met een influencer (perfect, this was just too much fun and I laughed a lot), Ik weet niet meer hoe ik slapen moet (this made me laugh, fun to see her try to figure out why she couldn’t sleep), Unicornia (a few plotholes, but in overall this was cute and adorable and I want more), De flessentrekker (not always the best, but still it was entertaining).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Views (meh), No Fear (the writing style didn’t work), Blauwe Tranen (yawn).
And here is a sparkly new stack with some books from last time and some new library books! I am excited to read these, will begin with the manga!

Thank you all for reading my post, plus thank you for all the love this past week with comments, likes, and more. sends hugs I hope everyone has an amazing week reading, enjoy! Let me know in the comments what you will be reading~

You are such an amazing daughter Mehsi! Your dad is so lucky to have such a loving and attentive daughter take care of him the way you do! Wow, how cool that you have TJ Maxx in The Netherlands. I love that store and as long as you have lots of time, you will always find something you didnt know you needed there. Isn’t it fun?
Great haul! I hope you love them all and have a wonderful week of relaxing and reading!💜💜
Aww, thank you Susan. I am just happy I can be there for him, make his day just a bit better. Yeah, I love the store, but mostly for their Halloween collection, haha. The clothes are often a tad expensive, though it is fun going through them and seeing what fab things there are, and sometimes you find a gem that isn’t too expensive.
Thank you! So far I am having fun with the stack, though also getting heavily distracted by every other book that I got this week. Haha. Have a great week as well! 😍😍😍😍
