Happy welcome to a new post about all the new releases I would LOVE to read (and buy in most cases) in October 2025! Yup! October is coming! Spooktober!!!

September was a good month so far! My hubby’s birthday, various fun things like visiting museums, a week off during my hubby’s birthday so we could just relax and have a great time, the weather not knowing it is going to be fall or summer (seriously, one day was like 15-18 and the next was 25+C). I visited my dad and he is doing pretty OK as far as OK goes, he was happy to see me at least and that makes me happy + I could give him some hugs and love. I still have no clue at times what he is talking about, but I try to chat along or put in my own topics.
Health-wise a bit of a mix, my perimenopause is at times really kicking my ass. My allergies/food intolerances were already not fun but add to that hormones going all over the charts and it is double the pain and double the what did I eat now that was bad. Not to mention waking up at night all hot and melted, yuck. And all the other things. No one told me about all the things I am experiencing, I am just googling as I go along. Oh, and of course it is the season to get colds, my nose is stuffy and yuck.
Coco is doing fine, though she should seriously stop eating acorns and the likes, we are now aware of the spots we should avoid or be extra careful around, but sometimes she manages to smuggle something home. But she is enjoying all the leaves and the autumn vibes that is happening.

Book-wise a ton of books both in English and Dutch! And again, plenty of spooky stuff. That I probably won’t be reading in Spooktober but the time after because of how slow things are. Hopefully at least the library gets those Dutch books in time, but given that it sometimes takes them a year to add a book. I am still very excited about all of these releases, I always love it when it is a month full of books.
