Top Ten Tuesday: 2-9-2025: Books with Occupations in the Title

Good evening!

Top Ten Tuesday, Pink, Cute, Hearts

Happy Tuesday everyone and a happy welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!

Since Top 5 Tuesday is out for me this month as I don’t really read classics (at least not the books people see as classics), I thought I would see what Top Ten Tuesday is bringing, and this week’s prompt is such a fun one! Plus, I also want to do the three from August I missed out on (Genre Freebie, Non-Bookish Freebie, High Page Count). But on to this week’s prompt, looking for books with occupations in the title. I could think of quite a few occupations but I made it easier for myself to just find a list with a whole bunch of them. I had a few that I really wanted to feature on my blog (librarian, idol, nanny), but the rest was going to be a bit tougher. There are just too many occupations, haha.

And so began the hunt! See what I could find on my read/TBR shelves. It was oodles of fun. Some occupations I thought I could easily find, but apparently it wasn’t in the title, darn it. But in the end I was able to find 7 more books to feature on today’s post! It is a nice mix of adult/children/YA with a dash of graphic novels/manga.

What did you pick for today’s topic? What is your favourite occupations (and something else than librarian or bookseller)?

What is TTT?

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Each week on Tuesday there is a topic and it is up to the bloggers to find books that fit that topic! It can be 10 books, but you can also do less. You may even do your own spin to it to make it more unique or to have it work better for yourself.
