New Releases I Hope to Read in November 2025

Hi!

A very happy welcome to a new post full of new releases in November!

This month flew by way too fast! It is one of my favourite months, Spooktober/October! I decorated my home inside and outside, I bought snacks and treats, read a ton of spooky things. It was a lot of fun but I was bothered by how fast the days just went by. Spooktober can last just a bit longer in my eyes. The weather is now full fall, though it is a bit confusing as at times it is still a bit warm. But at night/early morning you will shiver your butt off, haha. I visited my dad, he was doing fine and was happy with seeing me which makes me happy as sometimes he is just so far gone that he wants everyone around him gone. I will be visiting him again on Friday. I also saw my dad’s psych and gave her some more insights on my dad as they barely have any info on him (just a sheet of paper, thanks mom).
After years my hubby and I and a friend of ours participated in a new Biertocht (I am not sure on the English word, but you can drink 5 beers fitting to the season at a selected group of cafés/bars/etc.), it was a lot of fun, much better than the last time. That last time is why we stopped doing it. Back then you only had like 5/6 café/bars and it just got too crowded as they didn’t limit tickets. Now though you had 5 starter café/bars and then 10 others to pick from, so much better spread out.
Coco is doing fine, just having a bother with the colder weather and her hip, so we are giving her some medications to help with that.
The hammies were a bit of a fright, with Mokka, 3 months ago I noticed a little lump (the size of a pea) in his belly and well you cannot help with that so I just kept an eye out, but the last 2 weeks it has been going fast. So I popped by the doctor to talk and see what she thought because he was still doing OK in all other regions (eating, drinking, playing, attention asking, that sort of stuff) but he clearly was in pain, I was giving him pain meds to help. She agreed that he was in pain but that putting him to sleep was too early. He did get a level up in his medications and it is now just seeing how long it goes well. I have enough experience with hammies to know when I have to say it is over, though I am of course not looking forward to that moment. I am at least glad I can get to have some more moments with my little guy. Then there is Nova, 2 weeks ago she suddenly started to get aggressive, didn’t stop running in her wheel. Just like with Mokka I already have given her pain meds, but I couldn’t find anything wrong with her. No lumps or whatever. The doctor inspected her and couldn’t find anything, so for now she is getting antibiotics just in case and after a week I will update the doctor if it worked. Hopefully!
As for all the other stuff? I got my flu shot and was tired for 3 days (still not entirely OK, but I think that is also partially due to stress over hammies). I haven’t baked a lot but I am planning on baking speculaas en pepernoten soon. All in all, it was a good month! While I will miss Spooktober, I am also looking forward to hanging lights on part of my house at the front and getting the Christmas decorations ready! Haha.

Just like each year, November and December are the quieter months. At least in my experience. This November is the same, I don’t have a whole lot of books this month. But what I got I am looking forward to so much! Like Brigands & Breadknives! Or Professor Prank 2! I am excited!

And let me know if I need to add anything to my TBR! Horror, Children’s Books, Thrillers! Tell me in the comments~
