Library Haul ~ 1-11-2025 (Library #3)

Hello

Welcome all to a new shiny Library #3 haul, a bit tinier than normal.

Because apparently the main/central library was CLOSED today for some electricity test thingie. Did they tell us in time? No. I checked 2 days ago and there was ZERO news. So my hubby and I arrived to find out that the library was closed. We weren’t the only ones. There were multiple people standing and looking lost, others walking towards the library and looking confused why no one was going in. So I guess it was an impromptu thing or they should really learn to communicate better.

Anyways, we first visited some shops around the library as we needed some things (like my hubby who needed a new coat) and then we decided which branch of the library we could visit. I decided on one that we hadn’t visited yet. But as with all the branches of the library they are tiny/not that big. The main/central library is the big huge many floors one. So I didn’t find a whole lot of books, most of them I found while checking out the new releases tables, only one I found while browsing the shelves. I am still happy with what I got as most books are new releases that I was looking forward to, but I am still missing the new English books (the smaller branches barely have English books) and my dear sweet architecture/travel/photography books. Oh well, in 3 weeks I will visit again, the big one that is, and this time I will check before leaving. Because this is not the first time they had an impromptu/bad communication we are closed day.

What I would like to read first from the stack? Definitely Trick or Treat. I am kinda not in the mood for spookies, but I have been looking forward to this one A LOT so I am sure I can strike a bargain with my mood reader self. I read this, she gets some fun manga. XD
