New Releases I Hope to Read in December 2025
Afternoon all!

A wintery welcome to a new post filled with releases I want to read in December~
Another month went in a flash, haha, this year is just going way too fast. Health-wise a bit up/down, I am still recovering from the flu/lungs + asthma saying fuck it. Other than that, a pretty good month. Slowly I am decorating the house with lights and Christmas stuff, next week I hope to set up my Christmas tree (I got some pretty new decorations to add to it). So that is fun! Though I am definitely not looking forward cleaning it up again in January, haha.
I visited my dad once this month (due to flu/asthma stuff, I don’t want to get him sick) and he was doing very well! I love how happy he gets when I bring him snacks or his favourite peppermint balls + seeing how happy he is to see me. I even impressed him by lifting a very heavy chair without a hitch which made me smile. I just wish he would put in his hearing aids because at times you really have to talk very loud or use hand signals to let him know what is up.
Sad news, earlier this week (probably on Sunday) Nova has passed away. We had expected Mokka to pass away as he is terminal/has a tumor the size of a grape + some other things in his body. And Nova did have a little setback earlier but with meds she seemed to be OK. But then we didn’t see her for a bit, though we did hear her in the weekend, and we decided on Monday to check, only to find her all curled up. She is the first hammie not to come to us when she feels bad/dying, all the other hammies made it clear something was wrong and that they wanted to be with us. I will miss her very much. My poor little girl, hope she is having a good time in heaven with all the other hammies.
And other than that a pretty normal month. With some great books read and some DNF. Lots of fun ComicsPlus books + so many series I want to read now.
Book-wise, well as with almost all December posts not that many books but still quite a few this time! Including one Dutch book! There are some I am really excited about like Maid to Skate or the newest T. Kingfisher or the book about Dolly Parton! I am so excited!
Let me know if you know any fun books I should add to my list for this month!

Albeith being a christmas baby, I do prefer wrapping it up than setting it down 🤣 I leave my mother with the duty of tree decorating (dad gets it out of the garage). Right now it’s sitting bare with only lights has we had to install a new patio door first.
I do hope you get to enjoy these! Xx
Haha, well I don’t blame you. It is so much effort to get it all ready. Fun to do at times but sometimes just too much. 😂 Hopefully your mom can decorate the tree soon!
Thank you~ 😍
I want to read Dollys book too!
Did you read her Behind the Seams book?
