Happy Sunday!

Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates! Hope everyone is having a great weekend~

A week with mostly day to day stuff, but on Monday eve I visited Library #1 to pick up a reservation, found out there were a lot of fun books and could bring a few home but not too much so on Thursday I visited again, haha. On Friday I took Coco for a shopping trip at a nearby shopping mall. I got some fun pressies for my hubby for Christmas + some snacks + a cute little sweater for Coco. I just love bringing her along and having a girls day out, she loves coming along even if she isn’t too hot about public transport (she gets a bit motion sick). After that I popped by Library #4 to pick up my reservations + a few other books. So tons of fun!
Saturday I wanted to visit my dad but since I didn’t feel so good (sore throat/nauseous) I decided not to go since I don’t want to infect him with whatever my body has. And yes, I could wear a mask, but he does get confused by that so that is also no fun for him. So I will visit, if everything goes well, next week Friday. For now this weekend was just relaxing, reading, playing Hello Kitty Adventure Island!

Reading-wise, a bit of a mixed bag. I read some great books, either from my stack or those not on my stack or ComicsPlus. It was a good week though and I am glad I got to read/try out so many books. It was fun~

What did I read from my TBR? Super Unicorn Princess (oh so cute and oh so much fun), Fotoboek (loved the essays + photographs), Droom Weg (confusing), Frieren #2 to #5 (at first pretty good but that new arc is so boring, I am done with battle tournament style stuff), Kiss the Scars of Girls #1 to #3 (this was such a sweet and at times dark manga), Donut Squad (had expected one story but this was fun).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Terrible True Tales (didn’t click with it), Papa is een beetje moe (this guy was just so EH), Kun je op vakantie (not much new so I gave up), Bert (it is the second book but I thought you could read them separately nope), Toekomstige miljardair (borrrrinnng, though maybe it is the translation), Squish club (I gave up when the girls didn’t understand they could clean something), Kampdagboek (the writing style was off).

And here is a new stack. And yes, it is another big one. And it doesn’t even have my new books from Amazon that arrived this week, though I did add most of my new Library books. Teehee. But this time I don’t mind it that much that I couldn’t pick, because for the last days I have had a sore throat, felt nauseous (and this time it didn’t feel like my PMP), and tired. So I may just end up reading a lot. Though I also got a new Switch game, Hello Kitty Adventure Island, haha.
