Netgalley / Edelweiss TBR Updates ~ 10-12-2025
Hi all!
A warm welcome to a new Netgalley/Edelweiss TBR Updates! I got some fresh books on my TBRs that I am excited to share with you all~
Edelweiss has mostly cleared up with 3 books being good and 1 book sadly having such horrible quality I couldn’t even read it, or well, the text was mostly clear, the images looked like they had been scanned 50 times over getting progressively worse with each new scan. See my BlueSky for pics. Last week I got approved for Sayuri from Kodansha which just sounded like such an epic one!
Netgalley, I was able to get it down to one (whoo), and then haha, back to 5. They just had some great graphic novels/manga that I couldn’t just leave.
What to read first? Well, those two manga that are set for December 16th. I got them last week and hope to read them this week. I had to move some stuff around so I can feature reviews for them around their release. I am very excited to read them both, Parasyte has been one I have been curious about for ages, and the other one is a M/M one featuring libraries and so EEP!
Oh, and not listed, I just got approved, is Kaiju No.8 Relaxing Days, Vol.1 on Edelweiss! So excited!

It’s always like that! I get my Netgalley down to a page and then oooo more books. haha. I do not have any luck with Edelweiss!
Haha, it is a bookworm/reviewer problem it seems. I know that feeling. It is really hit and miss for what I get, it took me until this year for me to try it out. I do notice that as I am fattening up the numbers by reading free-for-all books (there are some great ones there) that my approval rate seems to go up. A bit like how it works with Netgalley.
