Hello all!

It is time! 2026 is knocking on the door and today I am sharing my New Releases for the first month of 2026! Eep! New year! New books~

But firstly, December! December was a pretty good month! I gifted my hubby something for Sinterklaas (plus made/bought several yummy Sinterklaas things) + I got something back (which I didn’t expect, so eep)~ I made some new Christmas arrangement to put around the house and had a lot of fun with that, definitely something I want to do again next year. I was totally in the Christmas mood. And Christmas was fabulous! Fantastic! Fun! First day we stayed at home and just had a good time, unwrapping presents + eating yummy foods, the second day we visited my hubby’s family which was very as we Dutch would say, gezellig.
I also visited my dad twice. Once just a normal visit to see how he was doing + say hi. And the other time was on the 16th when the home had a special Christmas dinner/lunch thingie. As I said last month my uncle/aunt didn’t want to go all of the sudden, so I could go again. I didn’t mind at all. Last year was such fun and my dad was so happy. This year he was a bit sleepier, at times he was just dozing off, but I saw he had a good time, plus the food was lovely. We both had a good time eating it. Though haha, I ate my dessert a bit more calmly than my dad who just devoured it. I also put some decorations in his room so he has some Christmas vibes as well.
Mokka, my sweet little hammy is still with us! Those meds the doc gave him earlier in November are working miracles. I am so blessed that my little guy is doing so well despite being terminal. I keep spoiling him with good snacks and lots of love. Though haha, he wants the love but doesn’t understand it when he gets on your hand/arm and just tries to run away again. Oh well, he accepts pets and sweet words as well.
As for the rest, well, I have been terribly tired all month (and in November/October as well, but it seems to just get more), I hope my vacation will help with getting less tired~

Book-wise, well I am very very excited about this first month of the year. I got so many fabulous reads that I am just dying to get in my hands.
