I received this book from Netgalley/the publisher in exchange of an honest review.

When I spotted this book on Netgalley I just had to press that Read Now so fast! I knew I would have a fun time with this one! In 2023 I read one called Face or Butt (review) and I was hoping to find something similar again one day. And here we are!

In this fun book we get to see 13 butts up close and personal! Each butt gets two pages. The first is a close-up to the butt with three clues. The clues range from It hibernates in winter to it lives in a troop in Africa to it is part of the camel family. For kids that is perfect and I am sure that a lot of them will have fun guessing. For an adult, well, it was still a lot of fun, but most butts I recognised from the start, just a few I needed hints for. Again, it was still fun (so much even), and I think kids will absolutely LOVE it. And that is the important part! After you had a go at trying to guess that butt you can go to the next page and find out what animal it was! You get to see a full photograph of the animal in question along with a small bit of information and a fun fact. I even learned something new, I didn’t know that that animal’s butt was hollow! Or that the name of that animal’s tail was called a scut!

I really liked that it was all very simple/basic, this will do perfect for the very early readers who are still discovering the world and want something just a tad more difficult.

At the end you learn if you were an expert or not. Plus, you get some extra information on the animals by learning the names of the baby/female/male/group!

All in all, this is one book I would definitely recommend! It was just oodles of fun!
