Hi hi hi!

Happy Sunday and a warm welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!

This week was a week I spend mostly trying to relax/rest a bit along with day to day stuff. On Tuesday I visited my dad to be part of the yearly Christmas lunch/dinner in the afternoon. As I said my uncle apparently suddenly didn’t want to go or something, I don’t know, my family is weird as heck. Anyways, I am happy to go! This year they had all sorts of yummy Italian foods, like gnocchi or meatballs in tomato sauce or focaccia and panna cotta! And my dad was all ready for it, though haha, he started dozing off after a bit, but he fully recovered for his dessert. I had fun chatting with the people at the table (both the people from my dad’s department and their one chosen family member) and at times with my dad (but since he didn’t have his hearing aids in it didn’t make things easy, haha), there was some good music. It was great fun! I am so happy I could be part of this again this year!
And then on Friday I visited Library #4 + walked through the city a bit. And Saturday my hubby and I and Coco visited a small Christmas market at our village. And now it is time for vacation! My hubby and I have 3 weeks to do all the fun things and relax.
Reading-wise, a very good week with a ton of manga along with books from my chosen TBR along with library books next to my nightstand. It was all very fun!

What did I read from my TBR?  Compact Kruiden (this was very interesting and I learned some new things), Schaduw #1 – #3 (the first and third book were amazing the second was OK but suffered from second book syndrome), Gestrikt voor kerst (a bit too many things going wrong but I had fun reading), Wat is goed leven (super interesting), New York (this was an exciting read and I want more).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)?  Ik bezorg pakketjes (the writing style (or translation) just didn’t work for me), Duistere dromen (writing style didn’t work), Hercules (I didn’t like Herc that much in this one).

And here is a new stack with my own books from last time I didn’t get to + some new library books! I am quite excited about this stack~ Plus, I got plenty of time to read as I got 3 weeks free!

A big thank you to all for reading my post and thank you to all who read/shared/commented/liked my posts the last week, you are all so very sweet! I hope everyone has a great festive week filled with books, food, and if you have that family. Enjoy!
