Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 7-12-2025
Hi everyone!

A happy welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates! I hope everyone is having a great weekend~
This week I tried to do less, but in the end I still did plenty. I just wanted to have the house look all perfect for the season. So next to cleaning up, I decorated some more, maybe a pretty Christmas arrangement, visited my local garden centre for items to make that + a free poinsetta. I visited Library #2 three times (twice while on a walk with Coco in the evening, and then Friday I went to one of my least favourite branches (it is too tiny/cramped there) but went there because the shops nearby had things I wanted. And today I am hoping to visit my dad and see how he is doing. Plus, I need to pay for the Christmas dinner/lunch thingie they are arranging (full of yummy foods, I cannot wait for December 16th).
Reading-wise, well, a good week… though I had quite a few DNF and didn’t all look at my TBR that much. I visited Library #2 and well, got some great books there. Plus, I had some MangaPlus manga I wanted to read. Next week I will try to look more at my TBR. Well, OK, if ComicsPlus doesn’t suddenly pop up in my mind, haha.
What did I read from my TBR? Saiyuki (pretty good, though at times a bit confusing), Apothecary Diaries (love love), Bizzy Bear (so cute and oh so much fun), Home Body (pretty nice), DC Pride (all three were pretty good though sometimes I had a hard time following, especially when it was a character I didn’t recognize).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Millicent Quibb (yawn), Pocket Shakespeare (the way Michael Rosen overexplained it all/the writing style, not for me), Coven (ugly art and a very confusing story), Het eerstvolgende (boring).
Here is a new stack, or well, there are a couple of newcomers, the rest is from last week. Let’s see if I read those, haha. Not included is Girl Walks Into the Forest which is next to me on my desk, I kept meaning to read it.

A giant big merry thank you to everyone who has been reading, commenting, sharing, bringing love to my blog this week. Thank you! hugs And I hope everyone has a great week ahead of them full of books and more fun things. Enjoy!
