New Releases I Hope to Read in February 2026

Hi!

New Releases I Hope to Read Girl with blue hair and neko ears being very excited

A happy welcome to a new New Releases I want to read, this time for February!

Can you imagine it is almost February? My birthday is coming up hot and fast (Feb 5th) and my blog’s birthday (24th) is also around the corner! Oh, and there is Valentine’s Day! Love it!

But now January. The first 10 days of that month was my vacation and I had a great time relaxing, visiting Belgium to go to Wijnegem for the sale (see my book haul here), enjoying the snow that fell hard and a lot in that last week of my vacation, reading a lot, doing so much LEGO my fingers were red and not happy, finishing one of my book nook kits. And then there was the other 14 days until today which were filled with day to day stuff, visiting my dad on the 16th (he was doing pretty OK though he wasn’t that much in the mood), library visits (I do need books) including finally being able to go to the big library of Library #4 again as they are now in their new temporary location (well, OK I am planning that for today, haha).
Coco turned 3 on the 19th, but she was just not in the mood for anything. She didn’t want her presents, she didn’t want to play, she clearly didn’t care to listen, so yeah, that was a bit of a shame, but I am still delighted that she is 3 years now. Time does fly. I remember when she was so tiny and now she is all grown up. She is my precious baby and I hope for many more years with her. Hopefully soon we can pop by the beach again, she just LOVES the sand and the birds and everything.
Mokka, he isn’t doing so hot, I think we are really nearing the end now, he squeaks more when he breathes, he walks weirdly, he has gone blind in one eye, but the boy is still there and he loves some yummy snacks (plus I am also giving him things he normally wouldn’t get as they are too fatty/unhealthy) + a lot of hugs. Yes, he wants to be picked up now, only bites softly when he doesn’t get it, but for most he just wants the cuddles. He doesn’t wake up that much, mostly sleeps, but when we wake him up for food or his meds he wants to be touched and held, which makes me cry. I am already happy that I have gotten such an extension on loving him. We were for sure he would pass away in November.
I did do some baking! From my newest book I got from Santa! Plus, some muffins from another book I got in November/December.
Oh, and I got a small cold around the 19th along with throat that is screaming NOPE NOPE. It is the season I guess.

WOW, a lot of books are coming out this new month. I just LOVE IT! I got some fabulous spooky horror stuff that I cannot wait to get my hands on. A new Soraya Lane! Some fab graphic novels! I am so excited. I love these earlier months when so much is coming out that you are drowning in books~

What is your most anticipated book of this upcoming month? Anything I should add to my list? Let me know in the comments!
