Happy Wednesday and a sparkly happy welcome to a new Waiting on Wednesday! Today’s book is the newest book in the Blood City Rollers series, hello to Move it or Bruise it!
So 2 years ago I read the first book in the series: Blood City Rollers and had a blast (see my review) and was already hoping for a second book in which the story would continue! And imagine my delight when I came across this one on the hunt for new 2026 books. Of course it had to go on the list. Of course I needed/wanted it! I am so curious how the story is going to go in this one, the blurb sounds very exciting at least. With friendship, zombies, tons of rollerskating, and vampires! I also cannot wait to see the art again, I really liked it in the previous one!

Mina is ready to roll…but her new team is nowhere to be found. After a summer skating around town looking in every dark corner for the Blood City Rollers, Mina and her other human teammate Swan are finally reunited with their squad at an abandoned asylum. It’s old, creepy, and has a basement full of zombies…perfect.
But if the asylum is going to be the new freaky forever home for the Vamps, they’ll have to fight for it. A new team of outcast monsters are also looking for a new home, and the only solution to a turf war this bloodthirsty is a Sudden Death Scrimmage.
