2026 Bookish Prediction Tag

Hello all!

Girl with a staff and a book moving left and right

A happy happy (or well, I am trying to be happy) welcome to a new Book Tag! Today I am doing the Bookish Prediction Tag 2026 edition!

I came across this one on the fabulous Lili Lost in a Book blog (go check it out) and I knew I had to do this one. It sounded like such a fun tag + I was already hunting for a new tag to do on my blog so it was perfect!

The OG tag creator is Book Princess Reviews

Next Read

Well, I actually got two! So I will share them both.

Lost and Lassoed by Lyla Sage, two people holding each other Unbelievable Football by Matt Oldfield, three people in soccer gear with in the background a trophy

Next 5 Star Read

Haha, if only I knew! But I guess I will pick one of my books. Mm. I think I will go for *points below*. I really enjoyed the other books by Michael Palin that I read so far and I am sure that this one will be no different.

In Venezuela by Michael Palin, old man with all sorts of sightseeing things behind him

Next 1 Star Read

Haha, harsh! I wouldn’t know what book would be a one star, if I would know I would probably NOT read it. But let’s see. I got these ARCs and those are always a roulette if I like them or not. So I am going to pick one of the two bigger books I have there. And now I am hoping I am not jinxing it. I will keep you all updated!

The Fourth Wife by Linda Hamilton, woman sitting in the dark

Next Love Interest (or Character that Seems Really Cool to You)

I think I may like Celeste from *points to the book cover below this text*. She sounds a bit bratty, but also like a girl who will grow up and do amazing things, so I am definitely liking the sound of that. Plus, I really like her design.

Celeste Express by Alexander Slater, purple cover with three character in a swirly green thing with letters around them

Next Book You’ll Be Buying

I actually don’t know yet. It all depends on what Amazon/Libristo have in stock. I generally make a list of books I want to buy and see what is there. But if I had to pick a book? Well, I guess I will go for *points to cover below*. This one! I am in for a cute M/M romance and this one sounds like it is that. Plus, boarding school!

And They Were Roommates by Page Powars, two guys with one of them holding the tie of the other

Next Book That Will Leave You with a Book Hangover (and Desperately Wanting a Reread or Next in Series)

Well, I don’t have any books at the moment like that, but I do have a book that is upcoming that will definitely leave me with a book hangover. Namely *points down below*. This one. Each new book in the series leaves me with a giant hangover. I want more. And technically I could read on as the volumes I am buying are originally separate issues.

Feral Vol 4 Pet City by Tony Fleecs, group of cats fighting to get out

Thank you all for reading! Once again, I am not tagging anyone, but if you want to do this one be sure to let me know, I am curious what you all are picking~
