Afternoon!

Happy Friday all, almost weekend! Whoo! A sparkly welcome to a new Library Haul~ Yesterday I visited Library #1.

And since my hubby had to be in the city of Library #1 for a visit at the hospital I asked if I could come along and if he could drop me off at/near the library. I was just not in the mood to bicycle given that the temperatures outside feel like -10C with the wind + it is raining/wet snow is falling. He was OK with it, so yay!

Before going to the library I first walked to the bookstore to pick up a book I wanted but none of the nearby bookstores had even after a week of it being out (Vanilla by Ype Driessen) and after that HEMA as I wanted to see if my plan for new clothes for Coco would work. And I can say yes. I will have to do some revisions/modifications, but baby clothes x Coco work! I got a cute sweater for her that needs the sleeves to be adjusted and a romper that needs the sleeves + backside adjusted. Small things that I can easily do. It was so adorable, I thought I would just try the clothes on and then just get them off again but she was clear she didn’t want to be without the romper. On to the library! I was hoping to find some books to bring home, and I can say yes I managed to find some books. It isn’t a super big haul this time, for two reasons. One it was hot as hell in the library and I was just getting uncomfortable, and two my hubby was back + wanted to walk with me through the library and I don’t want to take too long as he and heat are even worse than me and heat. So I just popped by my favourite parts and new releases tables. I found some fun new books almost all are non-fiction, only one book isn’t. I am really excited about these books and well, I think I will be reading the Marga Minco book first followed by Batcat. Well, that is when I have time. Haha, I already keep brushing my TBR off for other books, so maybe I won’t start reading until I make a new TBR with these books on it.
