Review: Bizzy Bear in Space

Bizzy Bear Find and Follow In Space by Benji Davies, bear in a rocket going to spaceA new Bizzy Bear adventure (for me at least) and this time we are going to space!

It was a bit different from the other Bizzy Bear book, I had expected them all to be the same, but this is different. Still a lot of fun though, but less.

Because instead of opening opening flaps, moving things around, and other fun surprises, the only thing you move around is a round little thing with Bizzy in it through a curvy course. It is still cute, and I know I am not the one meant for this book, so I am sure very little ones will love it. You can move the little round thingie from Earth to space and from other scenes to other scenes. I think for me it would be even more fun if the little round thingie STAYED where I left it instead of just going back to start on its own. XD

Next to a moving element on each page we get a page filled with things/stuff/fellow astronauts/etc. that Bizzy sees on his trip. Like robots! Or aliens! Or Earth. Or even himself, haha. It is really fun to find those things from the left side on the right side. I think this part was the most fun for me! I just love those search-find books.

I loved following Bizzy on his trip to the moon and see what he learns/encounters along the way. I even love the addition of aliens.

Bizzy is quite an enterprising bear it seems as I have heard of other books in which he goes to farms, is a zookeeper of some sort, gardens, and more. I definitely would love to find those books and see what kind of books there are in the series. So far we have interactive books like the camping, a slidey/search + find one like this one. I am curious what else there is!

Oh, and I cannot forget about the delightful and cute illustrations by Benji Davies! I love his style and that is also one of the biggest reasons why I picked up the Bizzy Bear series. I always want more from my favourite illustrators/writers.

All in all, maybe not entirely my favourite, but still I had a lot of fun with this space book and I know for sure kids will love it even more! The interactive element along with finding fun things on pages will definitely be a hit.
