Library Haul ~ 19-3-2026 (Library #1)

Greetings!

Happy Friday (almost weekend!) and welcome to a new Library #1 Haul!

Yesterday I popped by Library #1 to grab some new books as I was done with the previous books I got and I wanted something fresh. I knew that there weren’t a lot of new books because while it is still a bit chaotic they do keep kinda track in the new releases section of their site and I didn’t spot a whole lot there. Still, I had hopes to find at least something good, and I can tell you… I did! I had a fun time walking around and I found quite a nice stack of books with once again a nice varied menu. I got some children’s books, picture book, graphic novels, a romance book, so I am really happy. I also grabbed two graphic novels that I already read, 1 I read once a few years back, and the other is one I re-read every few years as it is such a good one (Persepolis if you want to know).

Oh, and while I was checking out their small (but growing) Graphic Novel collection I met the guy who organised it/made it happen. We had a good chat about the collection, graphic novels/comics/manga, and more. He has big plans and hopes to make the collection grow, so I am excited! It will take a long time to get to what Library #3 has, but I have big hopes for Library #1s collection to grow and grow. He told me that lots of people loan out the books and their is lots of love for it.

On to what to read first? Well, I am still thinking. I think for now one of the graphic novels, but if I will be going for the 2 re-reads or the 2 new ones I am not sure yet. We will see what my mood wants.
