A new Bizzy Bear and this time he is a pirate! ARRRR!

After having the greatest of time with Bizzy Bear: Camping Trip I just had to see if the library had more! They had one with space (which was fun but just not as interactive as the camping trip one) and in January I finally found another one featuring Bizzy Bear as pirate! Well, this girl loves pirate stories so sign me up!

In this delightful book we meet Bizzy Bear again (and his friends). This time he is a pirate, arrrr! And he and his crew are on their way to find treasure, as pirates do! We follow them as they board their ship and then go along with them on their journey! It was a lot of fun and at times I wished I could just step in the book and go on the treasure hunt with this crew. I was excited to see the treasure and could I perhaps take some of those coins with me in real life? Please? I need more books cough I mean I need a new bathroom. I loved the interactive parts on every other page, from steering a wheel to digging for treasure, it made it so much fun to read the story.

I had a laugh at some of the slides, like the one with the wheel and how it looked like we were breaking the poor bear’s arms. Or how that shovel did things no shovel does.

The art was really fun, but again, expected from Benji Davies whose art is one of my favourites!

All in all, I really need more Bizzy Bear books. I may be an adult, but I love those sliders and interactive elements. And not just me, haha, my hubby always takes the book from me to go through the interactive elements himself as well. I would highly recommend this one to all, adult or child, this is such a sweet series!
