Welcome back to the Creepy & Freaky! Say hello to new stories + plenty of lore!

I just love reading this series on MangaPlus and I was excited to continue as a new volume has just been released. Yes, I am the kinda girl who wants complete volumes and not just read some chapters here and there. I want to keep track of things and I just seem to do better with volumes. I was super excited to get to reading this one further I really enjoyed the first one which terrified me.

In this newest in the Creepy & Freaky series we get even more lore! And I love seeing the world of the boxes (with the store) come together with the Society in the human world (at least I am guessing it is the human world given things). Both parts are very fun to read with plenty of lore and clues to things from the stories to characters. Like Gren and her past (or their/his past, the manga is unsure about Gren’s pronouns and I am not sure if it is part of the story or if it is the translator messing things up). Or a new character and the things she does and how she is connected to bunny/u-san (as I will be calling him that, haha). And then in the society with NPC, the people talking about the things that happen/happened to them (or to others) + the people who work there and how they got to work there (not always voluntarily which was shocking especially when we learn about the loops). It was just so interesting and I soaked it all up. Wanting more.

And the stories are supercreepy and freaky and I love them so much. Some are a bit tame (like the one with the spooky buildings though it did end creepy) but others are just terrifying (like the hospital shadow or that one with the boy whose mother haunted him to the point that she was going beyond helicopter parenting). You never know what you get! Oh, and I love how some of the stories are connected, like in the hospital one we meet someone we met before.

The art is so fabulous and I love the boxes designs (those will haunt my nightmares). I love that the mangaka is able to come up with so many spooky designs and makes them progressively creepier as the story continues.

I just have so much fun reading this one and I hope it gets many many more chapters and more lore.
