Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 29-3-2026

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope everyone is having a great weekend~ Whoo! Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!
This week was mostly just day to day with lots of tiredness. The weather also decided that yes it is spring but haha here is cold and rain. I made two bakes, or well three. One cake, two times brownies with a new recipe from Dylan… but I hadn’t know I had to chill it as that was mentioned under the glazing (which I didn’t want) so I just kept baking it till it was at points still fudgey and at other points dry like the desert. XD On Saturday I baked it again and this time the oven wasn’t happy, but it still looked good in the end so I put it in the fridge and I will find out today if it all worked! I will let you know through BlueSky!
On Friday I popped by Library #4 to get some new books (see post here). On Saturday my hubby and I went to the city of Library #1 to do G-max Pikachu with a community there. I got a shiny! Whoo! And Sunday I am just going to read, sleep, read, pray that my brownies are good.
Reading-wise, my stack was a bit a miss/hit but I had some fun books on there. And I also read various manga this week, I was in the mood for it!
What did I read from my TBR? Dinosaurs are WOW (again another fun book in the series and I laughed a lot), Watts & Whiskerton both books (these are just so fabulous, great characters, fun mystery), Over My Dead Body (ohhhhhhhhhhh YES), Other Ever Afters (I am happy I got to re-read this one, magical).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Sandy Fin (very confused about Sandy and the story didn’t click), The Compound (yawwwwwnnn, after 4 days I was at 25-30 pages…), De strijd van de skeletten (such a bad translation), Persepolis (I wanted to re-read this one but my head was clearly not into it).
Here is a new stack of books with plenty of new library books! Not pictured is How to Win Her Heart on the 9nth Try as I am currently reading that.

Okay, I bake these in a 9 X 13 pan so I can double the recipe. If you don’t double(why wouldn’t you?😂) use an 8 X 8 pan……I never learned metrics(I’m old)so I hope you can convert this recipe!

Thank you for the recipe! I will see if I can convert it, at least the hardest one is converted (the temperature one). This week I already have 4 recipes, plus I got brownies in the fridge (as they are very fudgy) but next week I will try these!
