Good afternoon all!

A fluffy Spring welcome to a new Library #1 Haul! Yesss! New books!

So first up, a big big thank you to my hubby!💖 I was planning on going myself (either yesterday or today) but suddenly was struck by my monthly cramps x1000 (thanks peri) and barely could do much. Since I really wanted to visit the library to get some new books I looked with puppy eyes (🥺) to my hubby and asked if he could drive me to the library in the evening (this library is open until 11pm). He said OK! Oh, and afterwards he drove by Library #2 so I could also pick up my 5 reservations (we barely made it there as they closed at 8 on that day and I was there at 7.58, haha, speedrun).

I was so happy to be at Library #1, I knew from their new releases page there wouldn’t be a whole lot of new books but I was hoping to find at least several. And I can tell you, I found quite a nice stack of books with some non-fiction, some comics, some romance, some horror. It is a nice blend. Despite the pain I had fun walking around the library, books are a good distraction I can tell you that! OK, until I had to walk up the stairs to the next floor, haha, then I was back to reality. But for most of the time I was distracted by pretty books. Just a shame I couldn’t see if there were any picture books as that area was closed when I popped by. Hopefully next time I can pick up some new picture books!

What to read first? Well, for now I want to first finish my Tsundoku book, after that I want to see what else there is on my TBR for this week. But I don’t know. Maybe I will just read Tsundoku and get to the comics. Or that book by Loes Haverkort!
